CTL Year 4 Technology Training and Coaching Plan

Objective: to develop teacher, coach, and administrative understanding of the rigorous and integrated use of technology to support enhanced literacy integration

The following plan will combine a series of trainings, coaching, consulting, and mentoring to support the objective.

Formal Trainings - Four training series will be developed and delivered to school literacy coaches.  These training series are designed to support the specific technologies, and related technologies selected by each school.  Training series will be followed up with small group and individualized coaching and consulting.

-          Use of Clicker Systems for Higher Level Interaction – Two ½-Day Sessions

o    Questioning routines

o    Depth of Knowledge issues

1 Program Development Review

CTL’s Vice President for Program Design and Implementation, the CTL Project Manager for Striving Readers will oversee and provide guidance for all training, coaching, and mentoring plans, implementation, and results, and will report to Striving Readers partners about the scope of implementation and adjustments to the training and coaching plan as formative evidence is gathered.

 

 

Administrative Assistance

CTL’s Striving Readers Administrative Assistant will provide online research support, materials development assistance, and coordination of training and coaching calendars and materials.

 

 

1 Program Development Review
